Am I the only one fantasizing about breakfast even before bedtime? My appetite is exponentially growing with the rising number of breakfast options in Belgium. Think about frozen acai bowls, quinoa granola, eggs benedict and blueberry pancakes topped with maple syrup. Where were you guys 5 years ago? One thing is for sure. Breakfast is cool. And you’re gonna wanna join the club.
No surprise that me and Alpro are a match made in heaven. Alpro is a food brand with healthy non dairy products. I’ve been stacking up my fridge with soy, coco and nut milk when I shifted my food habits away from dairy products like milk and cream. But I will never turn my back on cheese and greek yoghurt though.
So what’s new, you’re wondering? Because I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s dreaming about breakfast over night, Alpro heard my prayers and released a breakfast guide to try at home. I was among the lucky few to get a first glimpse during a retreat at the belgian coast. Together with Hans van Alphen – Alpro ambassador – we were gonna discover the new breakfast trends. And how Alpro translates them into their own recipes. We stayed in a wonderful B&B in Knokke and woke up to an insanely lavish breakfast. They had two chefs over to surprise our taste buds with fresh made fluffy pancakes, soy cappuccino’s, matcha frappé’s, mango rice pops bowls, cinnamon soy drinks and so much more. I had no idea you could make all of these with Alpro! Enjoy the picture recap and sorry for taunting your appetite!
Here’s some of my favorites and you can find all the recipes in the online breakfast guide here. Enjoy!
